Conversation Topics
Before we dive into the topics….HUGE props to Derek Peplau and Eric Guerin for creating our awesome NomX3 mugs.
- Unintended Uses of Your Product – Jeff and Mike give Dennis Crowley and the Foursquare team a little junk for some changes they made to their service. Some of the changes have since been reversed or modified since this taping. However, the overall point is that Foursquare and other early stage startups should watch how their customers are using their product and see if a new and unintended use pops up that is beyond their original vision for the product or service. Like checking in at the Weston Tolls which is totally valid! It’s a functional check in, it lets people know how far away I am from my destination.
- Travel Has Changed - Gone are the days of sitting in the way back. What do you like most or least about how travel has changed in your lifetime?
- Who Is The Sidekick? – Make your case for whether Mike or Jeff is the sidekick on NomX3. The sidekick has to wear a t-shirt declaring their sidekickery to the other host.
- RANT! Snow - Snow seems to make everyone cranky. Share your best snow rant in the comments below.
